His “Remembering the Forgotten” landscape series of boarded-up motels, rusty refrigerators, and dry swimming pools and gas pumps in California’s arid deserts makes post-apocalyptic dirt look sexy.

Theo Jemison last year, took off to Indonesia on impulse in search of inspiration. The trip worked wonders to expand his mind and helped him re-connect with his art and work flow. He returned with some of the most amazing photography of his career thus far.On August 21st in Los Angeles, Theo will be exhibited in a group show at the Upstairs Gallery inside the X-Large LA Store on Vermont.

Ryan Schude born in the Chicagoland area, photographer Ryan Schude moved to California in 1997 to pursue a business degree at St. Mary’s College. Realizing that corporate America wasn’t going to satisfy him, he attended the San Francisco Art Institute and briefly studied photography before moving to San Diego to shoot freelance.Now living and working out of the Forge Studio in Los Angeles, Schude shoots editorial portraiture and is busy developing a series of narrative tableaux. This fall, Ryan and his brother Collins will release a short film called Bunny Suits.
