Pim Vuik finished High School he had no clue what to do after. The local photoshop in his town of birth was in need of an assistant for developing films and Pim took on the job. He soon got bored with it and became curious of what it would be like to shoot the pictures instead of developing them. He started with wedding, sports and press photography and at the same time followed the school of photography in The Hague. Soon after he set his first steps in the advertising world. Today, 20 years down the line, he works for renowned (inter)national clients. What drives Pim in his work is how he can translate a sketch into an image, how he can surprise a client by using different angles or light and how he can contribute to the idea behind an image.
